A quick and easy fall charcuterie board featuring crisp Honeycrisp apples, creamy brie, sharp cheddar, salty prosciutto, and sweet apple butter. Perfect for cozy gatherings and autumn parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces Brie cheese, room temperature
  • 6 ounces aged sharp cheddar, sliced into thin wedges
  • 4 ounces goat cheese log
  • 4 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces sopressata salami, sliced into rounds
  • 2 large Honeycrisp apples, cored and sliced thin
  • 1/2 cup dried figs
  • 1 cup red seedless grapes, washed and left in small clusters
  • 1 box assorted crackers (buttery crackers and rosemary crisps)
  • 1 small sliced baguette, toasted lightly
  • 1/2 cup apple butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
  • 1/2 cup toasted pecans
  • Sea salt flakes for sprinkling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep the apples (5 minutes): Core the Honeycrisp apples and slice them into thin wedges, about 1/4 inch thick. Toss them in a bowl with a squeeze of lemon juice to prevent browning. Set aside.
  2. Arrange the cheeses (3 minutes): Place the brie wheel in the center-left of the board. Put the goat cheese log next to it, and fan out the cheddar wedges on the right side. Leave some space between each cheese so guests can cut easily.
  3. Add the meats (2 minutes): Fold the prosciutto slices into loose ribbons and place them near the brie. Arrange the sopressata rounds in a small cluster on the opposite side. Don’t overlap them too much—you want each piece easy to grab.
  4. Fill in with fruits (3 minutes): Scatter the apple slices around the cheeses and meats. Add the dried figs and grape clusters in any empty gaps. This is where the board starts to look full and colorful.
  5. Add the crunch (2 minutes): Fill the small bowls with apple butter, honey, and toasted pecans. Place them in the corners of the board. Then, arrange the crackers and baguette slices around the edges, overlapping slightly for a rustic look.
  6. Garnish and finish (2 minutes): Tuck fresh rosemary sprigs between the ingredients for a pop of green. Sprinkle a few sea salt flakes over the apple slices. Drizzle honey over the brie just before serving.
  7. Serve immediately: Let the board sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before guests dig in. This lets the cheese soften and the flavors meld.

Notes

For best results, take brie out of fridge 30 minutes before serving. Toss apple slices with lemon juice to prevent browning. Assemble board no more than 30 minutes before serving to keep crackers crisp. Leftovers can be stored separately; flavors develop overnight.
