A quick and easy pumpkin cold foam that adds a creamy, spiced twist to your iced coffee, perfect for any season.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup (120 ml) milk of choice (whole milk, almond milk, oat milk, or coconut milk)
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree (canned, not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1 tablespoon sweetener (maple syrup, honey, or agave nectar)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of ground nutmeg
  • Pinch of ground ginger (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Pour ½ cup (120 ml) of your chosen milk into the blender or mixing bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree, 1 tablespoon of sweetener, and ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  2. Sprinkle in ¼ teaspoon of ground cinnamon, a pinch of nutmeg, a pinch of ground ginger (if using), and a small pinch of salt.
  3. If using a blender, pulse on low speed for about 30 seconds until the mixture is frothy and smooth. With a milk frother, froth the mixture for 1-2 minutes until it thickens and doubles in volume. If shaking in a jar, seal tightly and shake vigorously for about 2 minutes.
  4. Check the consistency; the foam should be light, airy, and creamy. If too thin, froth longer; if too thick, add a splash more milk and gently stir.
  5. Fill a glass with your favorite iced coffee, then spoon or pour the pumpkin cold foam on top.
  6. Sprinkle a little cinnamon or nutmeg on top for garnish and serve immediately.

Notes

Use cold milk and pumpkin puree for best foam stability. Avoid overheating ingredients. If pumpkin puree is watery, drain slightly before use. Sweeteners like maple syrup blend better than granulated sugar. Shake or whisk vigorously if no electric frother is available. Store foam in airtight container in fridge up to 24 hours and whisk before use.
