Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225 g) feta cheese, crumbled
  • 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) hot honey
  • 2 tsp everything bagel seasoning
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • Black pepper, freshly ground, to taste
  • Optional garnishes: fresh thyme leaves or chopped chives

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by leaving it out at room temperature for about 30 minutes or microwave in 10-second bursts without melting.
  2. Crumble the feta cheese into small pieces.
  3. Add the crumbled feta, softened cream cheese, olive oil, and lemon juice to a food processor or high-speed blender.
  4. Pulse to combine, then blend continuously for about 1 minute until smooth and fluffy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  5. Add freshly ground black pepper to taste and blend briefly to incorporate.
  6. Transfer the whipped feta dip to a serving bowl and smooth the top.
  7. Drizzle hot honey over the dip and sprinkle everything bagel seasoning evenly on top.
  8. Add optional fresh thyme or chives for garnish.
  9. Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes to let flavors meld. If chilled, bring to room temperature before serving.

Notes

Use good-quality block feta for best texture and flavor. Soften cream cheese before blending to avoid lumps. Pat feta dry to prevent watery dip. Adjust hot honey amount to control heat. Serve at room temperature for best texture. Does not freeze well.
