Crisp apple slices arranged like nachos, drizzled with warm peanut butter and honey, then topped with chocolate chips, nuts, and a sprinkle of cinnamon and sea salt. A quick, healthy, and irresistible snack ready in just 5 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large apples (Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Granny Smith)
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 12 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon shredded coconut (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pinch flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Wash apples thoroughly. Cut each apple in half through the stem, then into quarters. Remove core and slice each quarter into thin wedges about 1/4-inch thick. Arrange slices in a single layer on a serving platter, slightly overlapping.
  2. In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine peanut butter and honey or maple syrup. Microwave for 15-20 seconds, then stir until smooth and silky. If too thick, microwave another 5-10 seconds.
  3. Drizzle the warm peanut butter mixture over the apple slices. Immediately sprinkle dark chocolate chips and chopped nuts evenly on top. Dust with cinnamon and finish with a pinch of flaky sea salt.
  4. If using, sprinkle shredded coconut or other optional toppings over the nachos.
  5. Serve immediately while apples are crisp and drizzle is warm.

Notes

For best results, use crisp apples like Honeycrisp or Granny Smith. Warm peanut butter properly to achieve a drizzle consistency. Toast nuts for extra flavor. Serve immediately; leftovers do not store well. To prevent browning, toss apple slices in lemon water before assembling.
