This copycat pumpkin cold foam iced coffee is quick, easy, and tastes just like the fancy coffee shop version. Made with simple ingredients, it’s the perfect fall treat that saves you a small fortune.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup cold whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • Ice cubes
  • 12 tablespoons milk or cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a jar (or small bowl), combine the cold whole milk, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Screw the lid on tightly. Shake vigorously for about 30-45 seconds until well-combined and frothy.
  2. Check the texture. The foam should be thick enough to hold a soft peak when you lift a spoon. If still runny, shake for another 15 seconds.
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour the cooled coffee over the ice, filling the glass about three-quarters full. If desired, add a splash of milk or cream to the coffee before the ice.
  4. Gently spoon or pour the pumpkin foam over the back of a spoon onto the coffee to help it float. Do not stir.
  5. Optionally, sprinkle a tiny pinch of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon on top of the foam.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

For dairy-free, use oat milk or full-fat coconut milk. For sugar-free, swap maple syrup with monk fruit sweetener or stevia. The colder the milk, the better the foam. Do not use pumpkin pie filling.
