A quick and simple no-bake dessert featuring a crunchy graham cracker base, creamy peanut butter filling, and a smooth chocolate topping. Perfect for any occasion and ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups (150g) graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (250g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1 ¼ cups (150g) powdered sugar
  • 4 tablespoons (60ml) milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 ½ cups (260g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the base: In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted unsalted butter, and granulated sugar until combined and crumbly but sticky enough to hold shape. Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom of an 8×8 inch pan. Smooth out the surface. Set aside.
  2. Make the peanut butter filling: In a clean mixing bowl, combine creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and milk. Stir vigorously until smooth and creamy. Spread the peanut butter layer evenly over the graham cracker base and chill in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Prepare the chocolate topping: Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips with unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second bursts, stirring until fully melted and glossy. Pour the warm chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
  4. Chill to set: Refrigerate the pan for at least 2 hours or until the chocolate is firm and layers have set completely. Cover with plastic wrap to avoid fridge odors.
  5. Cut and serve: Warm a sharp knife under hot water, dry it, and slice the squares about 2 inches each. Wipe the knife between cuts for clean edges. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Use room temperature peanut butter for a smoother filling. Don’t rush chilling to ensure perfect sliceable texture. Warm the knife before slicing to avoid cracking the chocolate topping. Quality chocolate melts better and tastes richer. For gluten-free, substitute graham crackers with gluten-free cookies or nuts. Vegan adaptations possible with vegan butter, dairy-free chocolate chips, and plant-based milk.
