A creamy, no-cook breakfast made with rolled oats, peanut butter, and chocolate chips. Prep in just 5 minutes and wake up to a delicious, ready-to-eat meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup (45g) rolled oats (old-fashioned oats)
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) milk of your choice
  • 1/4 cup (60g) plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons (32g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tablespoon (15g) mini chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a 16-ounce mason jar or container, combine the milk, Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and maple syrup. Stir with a spoon or small whisk until the peanut butter is mostly incorporated (about 30 seconds).
  2. Add the rolled oats, chia seeds (if using), and a pinch of sea salt. Stir until everything is evenly distributed. The mixture will look thin but will thicken overnight.
  3. Fold in the mini chocolate chips, leaving a few on top for visual appeal.
  4. Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, but ideally overnight (8-12 hours).
  5. In the morning, stir the oats. If too thick, add a splash of milk. Serve cold or microwave for 30-60 seconds for warm oats.

Notes

For best texture, use rolled oats (not steel-cut or quick oats). A pinch of salt enhances the flavors. The oats keep in the fridge for up to 5 days and can be frozen for up to 3 months.
